Sparking stories that create change

Good communication means being heard and feeling heard. We work with people and the media to inspire content that changes hearts and minds.

We work with people and the media in three ways

1. We connect media professionals with people who’ve directly experienced different issues

2. We support people to get the best out of media engagements – and to feel good about doing them

3. We use insights from research to help storytellers land their message and engage audiences

Recently we’ve been working on complex communications challenges like poverty, climate change, migration and more

We support media organisations to help them tell stories that create change

Over the past 18 years we have worked with thousands of storytellers across TV, film, news and the charity sector.

We have run sessions for teams at the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, The Guardian, ITV, LBC, Netflix, NBC Universal, Sky, The Sun, The Times, and Warner Bros Discovery – and with charities including Crisis, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Living Wage Foundation and Trussell.

Our mission is to inspire better conversations and communication on the issues that matter to us all

“I realised that it’s not about one big change in behaviour; it’s more about a change of mindset that leads to small nudges in the direction of sensitivity and awareness!”

Evan Davis, BBC Newsnight

“The sessions were perfectly pitched – informative and thorough without being stressful or overwhelming for the participants.”

Rosie Fenning, The Earthshot Prize

“They are the only organisation I’ve ever worked with who have people with lived experience as colleagues.”

Tanaka Mhishi, network member, writer + facilitator
